Whitney Houston dead at 48

Just got the news. Details are sketchy right now. But damn, I was hoping she’d make a comeback in true diva fashion.

I still recall this one:

Young Whitney, what a voice. I was a DJ at WDOM 91.3FM in 1985 when this first dropped onto the market. This was when we were still spinning vinyl but CD’s were coming into their own. We wore a hole through the album, there were so many requests for the song above.

RIP Whitney. Always loved your work and I have such fond memories of that time period and you loomed large in them.
