Finally some real plant food and 4G in the oddest of places February 15, 2012

So today I took a ride out with friends to the Ann & Hope Outlet Stores in Cumberland, RI.
It was there I found what blog I visit, Hack A Week had recommended as plant food, Peters fertilizer. It’s a 20-20-20 mix of nitrogen, phosphate, and potash. The fertilizer is water soluble and also includes Boron, Copper, Iron, Manganese, Molybdenum, and Zinc. Heavy metal baby! This is much better than Miracle Grow that’s for damned sure, and only 1/4tsp to a gallon of water.
By comparison Miracle Grow only has the same numbers in very low single digit percentages.
Another oddity, I’ve noted that MetroPCS 4G LTE service is most prevalent in major cities. For example, here in Providence, I get 4G service pretty much throughout the city. But go just 10 miles south into Warwick, RI and no 4G!
But in Cumberland at the Outlet store, I got solid 4G service. So this tells me that MetroPCS is building out their network of towers to support 4G everywhere. Yippee!

Alas, most plants need different proportions of the ’3′; it is hard to get’em all happy with one size fits all fertilizer.
