Gay Movies: What Happens Next (2009)

Blessings upon Netflix. The amount of gay content there is increasing regularly.

And I completely missed any mention of this movie, What Happens Next from 2009! If you’re a Netflix subscriber go ahead, click and watch!

Cute enough movie – a successful businessman in his 50′s named Paul is given a new puppy by his sister on his selling out of his company.

Through the dog he meets another dog owner, Andy who is significantly younger than Paul.

Andy is gay of course – Paul is cryptic but gay too. And how they get together is interesting, sweet and cute.

I’m glad we’re seeing the advent of gay movies with a positive ending, as opposed to the ones where the gay guy dies, goes to prison, or the like. That old formula is depressing.
