So I happened by Trader Joe’s and got two frozen Albacore Tuna steaks. I used a little bit of olive oil on them then seasoned with some salt and garlic powder. Then rubbed a little olive oil in the roasting pan and put it into a 425F oven for 10 minutes, flipping it at the mid way mark.
But what really rocked on this fish, something I adopted from Foodwishes on YouTube, was the sauce.
Ingredients for about 4 portions:
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped fresh tarragon
2 tbsps chopped walnuts
salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste
You would not believe how WELL this works with fish. The walnuts, when cooked in the butter are so sweet. It’s amazing. So try it out. I’m pretty sure you’ll like it. Oh and the fresh tarragon, I just used dried and it came out fine. You may have to adjust the amount as dried is a little more pungent.
